Our Lavender attracts many different kinds of butterflies and moths, from the humble cabbage white and common tortoiseshell to the more unusual peacock butterfly and the amazing humming bird moth. The bees are working all day, collecting nectar and pollen to make our honey. Swallows and swifts fly overhead with the occasional visit from buzzards. Wagtails enjoy the Lavender too and last year we had a hare who decided to move into the field. We are waiting to spot him again this season.
There is an easy Farm Walk along footpaths that takes a circular route around nearby fields. More adventurous walkers can find many more paths using OS Map 142 Explorer Series.
Our farm shop is at the end of the lavender garden with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view. All our products are available in the shop.
